Cesta utíká a my za chvilku přijíždíme k Dirthangaru,
který není vůbec ve Vídni, ale tak ještě 45 km za Vídní. Potkávám Simona Moratze se kterým si dávám
pět a diskutujeme o hale atd. V hale se nacházejí 3 rovné skoky (funboxy)
a na konci velký rádius. Okolo celé haly vede dost zábavný pumptrack. Otvíračka je spojená i s menším contestem,
kterého jsem se zúčastnil. Moc jsem nechápal systém, který tam panoval. Jezdilo
se a nikdo nic nehodnotil. Všichni šli do finále.
Já jsem si odjel to
svoje a kolem 20:00 jsme vyráželi domu. Jak bych to celé zhodnotil? Pro mě ne
moc zábavné, ale jsem rád že jsem se mohl svést na kole a pobavit se s kámošema,
které jsem už dlouho neviděl.

To
begin with, it was arranged that Milan and me would leave really early in the
morning. I should have been at his place by 5:30am but unfortunately I
overslept. I got up at 6:30am, looked at the alarm clock and .. DAMN! I got
dressed and left. On the way to my car I noticed that it was foggy and the road
was really slippery. I got into the car
and I rushed to Milan’s so we could stack all his photo crap in. Having got up in
such a hurry I still felt a little out of place. The visibility was also very
poor I saw no more than one meter ahead but I pushed the gas pedal down to the
floor. Not that far away from Milan’s I crashed right to a brick wall. I sat in
the car in wonder thinking – “Am I dreaming?” I got out of the car and I
clearly saw that this really wasn’t a dream. The light was broken and the
bumper was taken aback some 5cm. I drove slowly to Milan’s. We put the stuff
into his car and set on the way.
The
journey didn’t take long and after a while we arrived to Dirhangar, which is
not in Vienna at all, but some 45km far from the city. We met Simon Moratz who
gave us five and started to discuss the hall. In the hall there are three
straight jumps (funboxes) and at the end a big radius. Around the hall there is
a relatively entertaining pumptrack. The opening was joined with a little
contest in which we took place. We didn’t really understand the system of the
contest because people would ride with no evaluation whatsoever. It was also
very long drawn out and we had to wait for MTB am, MTB pro and BMX am
categories to finish. As I have already said, the jumps were built for the new
dirt generation so they could do their acrobatic experiments. I did my best and
around 8:00pm we left for home. How would I sum it up? It wasn’t that
entertaining for me but I am glad that I could ride and see my friends I hadn’t
seen in a while.
